How to Unroot the EVO V 4G (Virgin)

Downloading Required Files:1.RUU2.FastbootIII. Unrooting the Virgin EVO V 4G:1. Download and place both the files on your Desktop.2. Extract files from the Fastboot archive to your Desktop. This should give youfastboot.exlong with some other files.3. Turn OFF your smartphone using thePowerbutton.4. While your device is turned OFF, press and holdVolume DOWN+Powerbuttons together.5. Your device should boot into HBOOT mode.6. From the HBOOT menu, selectFastboot.7. Connect the device to your PC usingUSBcable.8. Open a Command Prompt Window on the Desktop of your PC. To do so, press and hold theShiftbutton on yourboardand right-click on any empty ar on the screen, then chooseOpen command window here.9. Type in following command into the Command Prompt Window:fastboot oem lock10. It should relock thebootloaderof your device.11. Keep your device connected to your PC in Fastboot mode.12. Now, double-click on the RUU executable file you downloaded rlier.13. Follow the on-screen instructions.14. You should be unrooted now!Brilliant! Your smartphone is now back to stock, norootaccess, no custom recovery, nothing. It is just as pure as it was when you took it out of the box!
