This might seem a difficult task at first, but it rlly isn’t. So to help your rooting job sier, here we’ve put together all the steps to root theGalaxyPocket (GT-S5300) smartphone. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.2. Your device should have at lst 60% of battery life left.II. Downloading Required Files:1.Root PackageIII. Rooting the Galaxy Pocket (GT-S5300):1. Place the Root Package archive on the Desktop of your PC. Do NOT extract it, just lve it as is.2. Connect your device to your PC using theUSBcable.3. Copy theRoot Packagrchive over to the root of yourSDcard.4. Once it’s copied, disconnect your device from your PC.5. Turn OFF your device.6. Reboot your device into theRecoverymode. To do so, press and hold theVolume UP+Home+Powerbuttons together.7. Once inside theRecoverymode, choospply update fromsdcard.8. Select theRoot Packagrchive you copied rlier for flashing.9. The file will then be flashed on your device.10. Once it’s done, reboot your device.11. And you’re rooted now!Awesome! No problem, here’s a guide for you that will help you unroot your device as well as reinstate your warranty. The procedure below flashes the stockfirmwareon your device and lets you revert back to official firmware for your device. So, let’s not waste time and get onto the procedure:I. Before You Begin:1. Make sure your device has at lst 70% of battery life left.II. Downloading Required Files:1.Stock Firmware(Download the appropriate firmware for your device)2.OdinIII. Unrooting the Galaxy Pocket (GT-S5300):1. Download and place both the files onto your Desktop.2. Extract files from both the archives to your Desktop.3. Double-click onOdinexecutable file and it’ll launch.4. Click onPDAand select theStock Firmwarefile you extracted rlier to your Desktop.5. Checkmark the boxes that sayAuto RebootandF. Reset Time.6. Lve theRepartitionbox unchecked.7. Turn OFF your device.8. Reboot your device intoDownloadmode. To do that, simply hold down theVolume DOWN+Home+Powerbuttons together.9. Once insideDownloadmode, connect your device to your PC viaUSBcable.10. Click onStartbutton in the Odin and it’ll begin the flashing process.11. It may take a few minutes to finish the process, so be patient.12. Once it’s done, reboot your device.13. And you’re unrooted now!Brilliant!
