Downloading Required Files:1.z4Root APKIII. Rooting/Unrooting the XT701:1. Download the z4Root APK file onto your Desktop.2. Connect your device to your PC viaUSBcable.3. Copy the APK file over to the root of yourSDcard.4. You may disconnect the device from your PC after the file has been copied.5. Go toMenu>>Settings>>Appliions>>Developmentand enableUSB debuggingoption.6. Enable theUnknown sourcesoption as well.
