Phone 8.1 update with notifiion center, additional ftures spotted
Jeremiah Wong, a Reddit user, has posted a series of screenshots that are said to be from a Lumia 920 running on pre relse software. The handset that was purchased via eBay is running on a software version that identifies itself as12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407. This particular build was compiled on 5th May and has a of additions that Phone users have been clamoring for.The biggest and most important addition has to be the notifiion center that seems to be accessible via a dedied live tile. We hope that will add a gesture to access this by the time the software update rolls out. A redesigned calendar interface with weekly views and what apprs to be a much improved widget can also be seen. has also added the ability to close appliions straight through the multitasking menu. The Redmond based company also seems to be twking the interface a bit as can be seen from the screenshots and will allow users to sort apps by name and usage frequency in the app list. The handset is running a of developer centric appliions and is clrly one that was being used a developer before being sold on eBay. We’re quite excited to see plugging the several shortcomings of its mobile platform and can’t wait for it to roll out to eral users.
