How to Unroot the Optimus L7
If you’re going to sell your Optimus L7 or returning it to service center, better you unroot it first. Unrooting will reinstate the warranty of your device and erase all the modifiions that you’ve done on your device, putting it in an out-of-the box condition. Here’s how you can unroot your Optimus L7 and get it back to stock firmware.By EditAndroidI. Before You Begin:1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure givenhere.2. This works on based PCs only.3. You should have appropriate drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, get them fromhere.II. Downloading Required Files:1.Stock Firmware2.KDZIII. Unrooting the Optimus L7:1. Place both the files you downloaded to your Desktop.2. Extract files from theKDZarchive over to your Desktop.3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by going toMenu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.4. Double-click on theKDZexecutable file available on your Desktop.5. Turn OFF your device.6. Reboot your device intoEmercymode. To do so, simply press and hold theVolume UP+Powerbuttons together.7. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.8. Now in the KDZ tool, choose3GQCTfrom theTypedropdown menu andEMERCYfrom thePhone Modemenu.9. Put in theStock Firmwarefile you downloaded rlier in the KDZ tool.10. HitLaunch software updatebutton and it’ll begin flashing the firmware.11. It will take some good time to flash the file, so have patience.12. Once it has done flashing the file, reboot your device.13. And you should be unrooted now!Awesome! Your device has been unrooted and is now running the official stock firmware.
