How to Root the Xyboard on Honeycomb


The Xyboard was announced back in 2011, is an Android device running Android 3.2 Honeycomb. Although the device’s equipped with almost all the useful ftures, it still has some powers that can only be unlocked if you root it. Root-access on the device’s been achieved, all thanks to Dan Rosenberg, and it’s a one-click utility that makes rooting dd sy. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.2. You must be running Android 3.2 Honeycomb.3. You should have proper drivers installed on your PC.II. Downloading Required Files:1.Root PackageIII. Rooting the Xyboard:1. Download and place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop. Don’t run any files just yet.3. Turn ON the USB debugging function on your device. To do so, hd toMenu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.4. Once enabled, connect your device to your PC via USB cable.5. Double-click on therun.batfile you extracted rlier to your Desktop.6. Follow the on-screen instructions.7. And you should be rooted now!Excellent! Your Xyboard has been successfully rooted and you should be able to see the Superuser app in your App Drawer.
