How to Root the Ascend G600
Some users say that rooting devices have always been a difficult task, but that’s not the case with the Ascend G600. Rooting the said device is extremely sy, all thanks to the efforts of the root developer. Rooting your device has many benefits, as you will be able to load root-only apps on your device, uninstall system apps and go beyond the normal customizations. Sounds interesting? huh. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.2. You need to have unlocked bootloader of your device. Follow the instructions givenhereto unlock your bootloader.3. This procedure works on based PCs only.4. This procedure flashes a custom recovery on your device as well.II. Downloading Required Files:1.Root File2.Recovery FileIII. Rooting the Ascend G600:1. Place both the files onto your Desktop.2. Extract files from theRecoveryarchive over to your Desktop.3. Turn OFF your device.4. Reboot your device intoFastbootmode. To do so, simply hold down theVolume DOWN+Powerbuttons for about 10 seconds.5. Your device should reboot intoFastbootmode.6. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.7. Now double-click on theflash_RECOVERY.batfile you extracted rlier from theRecoveryarchive.8. It should flash the custom recovery on your device.9. Once it’s done, your device will reboot.10. Now copy theRoot Fileover to the root of your SD card.11. Turn OFF your device.12. Press and hold theVolume UP+Powerbuttons for about 10 seconds and your device will reboot intoRecoverymode.13. From theRecoverymode, selectinstall zip from sdcardfollowed bychoose zip from sdcard.14. Select theRoot Fileyou copied rlier to your device for flashing.15. It will flash the file on your device.16. Once the file’s been flashed, reboot your device.17.
