Google Glass Now An App Available for Android Devices

Outside of the small group of Google Glass Explorers very few people have actually been able to use Google Glass. Even the Explorers had to pay $1500 after they won a competition to use the wrable tech. Now many more people will be able to try out the tech thanks to developer Zhuowei Zhang.By EditAndroidZhang has taken the glass source that was recently relsed to the dev community and modified it to run onAndroid. The best part is that it indeed works. Obviously you won’t get the entirugmentedrlityglass experience, but you will be able to get a pk into the software behind the Google Glass experience.By downloading the Glass home APK, then grabbing the Camera, Maps and Setup plugins you can shout out, “ok glass” commands until you’re blue in the face. As expected, not everything works like the GlassMapsappliion, for example, will not recognize taps.Also don’t expect the app to be compatible with everyAndroiddevice.
